AAAA / Quad
Top TierThe highest quality grading for cannabis. “Quad” refers to AAAA — the cream of the crop. Dense buds, heavy trichome coverage, perfect cure, and exceptional terpene profile. This is what we stock exclusively at Belt And Road. No mids, no reggie, ever.
Gas
QualityVery potent, pungent cannabis that hits hard and smells even harder. If someone calls their product “gas,” it’s a statement about potency and aroma. The kind of weed that fills a room just by opening the jar.
Loud
QualityStrong-smelling cannabis that announces its presence before you even light it. The opposite of subtle. If it’s loud, you’ll know from across the room. Often used interchangeably with “gas” and “dank.”
Exotic / Zaza
QualityRare or premium cannabis strains that aren’t commonly available. Exotic strains often have unique genetics, limited runs, and distinctive terpene profiles. “Zaza” is the newer slang — same meaning, extra hype.
Craft
QualitySmall-batch premium cannabis grown with attention to detail that mass production can’t match. Think microbrew vs. macro beer. Craft growers focus on quality over quantity, often using organic methods and hand-trimming.
Top Shelf
QualityThe highest quality product tier in any dispensary or menu. Top shelf sits above mid-shelf and bottom-shelf. At Belt And Road, everything we stock is top shelf — we don’t carry lower tiers because our customers don’t want them.
Frosty
QualityCovered in visible trichomes — the tiny resin glands that look like sugar crystals coating the bud. Frosty cannabis indicates high cannabinoid content and proper handling. The more frost, the more potent the product.
Mid
QualityMedium-grade cannabis. Not terrible, not great. Decent effects but lacking in flavor, potency, or appearance. You’ll find plenty of mids in the market. You won’t find any at Belt And Road.
Reggie / Brick Weed
QualityLow-quality cannabis, often compressed into bricks for transport. Dry, seeded, harsh smoke, minimal effects. The kind of product that makes you question why you smoke at all. We don’t touch this stuff, and neither should you.
Kief
ProductThe collected trichomes that fall off cannabis flower during handling or grinding. Pure cannabinoid and terpene concentrate — essentially nature’s hash. Sprinkle it on bowls, roll it into joints, or press it into rosin. Potency ranges from 40–80% THC depending on strain and collection method.
Rosin
ProductSolventless cannabis extract made by applying heat and pressure to flower or hash. No chemicals, no solvents — just pure mechanical extraction. The cleanest concentrate you can make, prized by health-conscious consumers and flavor chasers.
Live Resin
ProductExtract made from cannabis that was flash-frozen immediately after harvest rather than dried and cured. Preserves the full terpene profile for maximum flavor and aroma. The “live” refers to the freshness of the starting material, not the final product.
Diamonds
ProductTHCA crystalline concentrate that forms diamond-like structures during extraction. Often found suspended in terpene-rich “sauce.” Pure potency — diamonds can test at 99%+ THCA. For experienced users who want maximum intensity.
Sauce
ProductTerpene-rich cannabis extract with a liquid, saucy consistency. Often contains THCA diamonds suspended in the terpene fraction. Maximum flavor experience — the connoisseur’s choice for dabbing.
Distillate
ProductHighly refined cannabis oil stripped of everything except specific cannabinoids (typically THC). Odorless, flavorless, and extremely potent. Common in vape cartridges and edibles where consistent dosing matters more than flavor.
Full Spectrum
ProductExtract that retains multiple cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG, etc.) and terpenes rather than isolating a single compound. Believed to produce better effects through the “entourage effect” — cannabinoids working synergistically.
Moon Rocks
ProductCannabis buds coated in hash oil and rolled in kief. The most potent pre-made product available — typically 50%+ THC. Not for beginners. Break apart with scissors rather than grinding, and use small amounts.
Infused Pre-Roll
ProductA pre-rolled joint enhanced with concentrates — typically hash, kief, or distillate inside or on the outside. More potent than standard pre-rolls. Popular for festivals and events where rolling isn’t practical.
Cannagar
ProductA luxury cannabis cigar — multiple grams of flower packed into a hemp leaf wrap, often with concentrate inside. Burns for hours, hits incredibly hard, and costs accordingly. The celebration blunt for special occasions.
Puffco / E-Rig
EquipmentElectronic dab rigs that heat concentrates to precise temperatures without a torch. Puffco is the most popular brand, but many alternatives exist. Temperature control preserves terpenes and eliminates the learning curve of traditional dabbing. Essential for anyone serious about concentrates.
Quartz Banger
EquipmentThe heating attachment on a dab rig where concentrate is vaporized. Quartz is preferred over titanium or ceramic for flavor preservation. Heated with a torch, then allowed to cool to the optimal temperature before dabbing.
Nectar Collector
EquipmentA straw-like concentrate device — heat the tip with a torch, then touch it directly to your concentrate while inhaling. Portable, simple, and eliminates the need for a full rig setup. Great for travel and quick sessions.
Recycler

Cyph
CultureA group smoking circle where a joint or blunt is passed sequentially. The cyph has its own etiquette — puff, puff, pass; don’t bogart; corner the bowl; respect the rotation. Breaking cyph etiquette is a social faux pas that marks you as inexperienced or inconsiderate.
Hotbox

Wake and Bake

T-Break
CultureA tolerance break — abstaining from cannabis for a period to reset tolerance and restore sensitivity. Typically 1–4 weeks. After a successful T-break, lower doses produce stronger effects, saving money and enhancing experience. Recommended every few months for regular users.
Munchies
CultureThe increased appetite that follows cannabis consumption, particularly THC-dominant strains. Caused by THC’s interaction with CB1 receptors in the hypothalamus. Prepare snacks before you smoke, or you’ll end up eating whatever’s available — even that questionable leftover takeout.
Couch Lock
CultureA heavy sedative cannabis effect that makes movement feel impossible. Common with indica-dominant strains and high-THC products. The “I was going to clean my apartment but now I’m watching nature documentaries for six hours” effect. Plan accordingly.
Head High
CultureA cerebral, psychoactive effect characterized by mental stimulation, creativity, and altered perception. Associated with sativa-dominant strains. The opposite of couch lock — you might clean your apartment, write a novel, or have intense philosophical conversations.
Body High
CultureA physical, relaxing effect felt throughout the body — muscle relaxation, tension relief, and a sense of heaviness or warmth. Associated with indica-dominant strains. Ideal for pain management, sleep preparation, or just melting into the couch.
Puff Puff Pass
CultureThe fundamental rule of group smoking etiquette: take two puffs, then pass to the next person. Don’t hold the joint while telling a story. Don’t pass a roach without warning. Don’t slobber on the mouthpiece. Basic respect keeps the cyph flowing.
Stealth Shipping
